So originally I was going to make my own homemade baked beans as all the ones out there are packed full of sugar, and if you like a bit of sweetness, you can get it from the tomatoes. However, this recipe kind of grew arms and legs as I made it, and turned more into a homemade veggie spicy baked bean chilli. This is packed full of protein from the beans and lots of nourishment from the vegetables.
I never quite stick to recipes or times. I always play around and see how I feel on the day.
