I often take photos when I'm out walking, I love nature in all it's glory, it's reflection of beauty, delicateness, stillness, grandness, order harmony and joy - and the fact it's around us no matter where we live, whether it's in a city, a village or the countryside. Sometimes we can find the most beautiful, precious and delicate things is the most unlikely of places :-)
Most of us have seen the film Ground Hog Day where Bill Murray wakes up and keeps living the same day over again till he learns to be more loving.
Well, what would you say if I said this was true of all of us, that we are here on a journey going round and round the sun, living the same day over and over again. Learning along the way to make more loving choices. Codswallop you might say, but it's true, if you think about it, we live on a planet that goes around the sun, day after day, so in reality we are going not going forward in a straight line,we are going around. every single day, every month, every year, repeating the same 24 hours, the same 12 months, the same 365 days, give or take a leap year.
Anyway what made me giggle and confirmed this to me is a few simple trips I have had to the super market, there is no such thing as coincidence by the way, as Einstein said " God doesn't role dice" everything is set up for us to learn who we are, the universe and the world are far to intricately ordered and precise for that.
Back to the supermarket, I will be super honest and say i went to the supermarket with the intent to buy a food that would numb how I was feeling that day, standing in the queue I noticed a guy at the next till, I didn't think much of it, bought my food and off I went ... 24 hours later and here I am again, in the supermarket making the same choice, same food, yet here I was trying to shut down my awareness, ignore the feelings in my body and convince myself otherwise, I'm in the queue, I look up, who's at the till opposite me - yes the exact same man, same food, same day lived over again, I was being given a very clear and loving message - am I going to make the same unloving choices as yesterday or am I going to make a more loving choice today?
